BzzAgent Kettle Brand Chips Review

I participate in a WOM site called BzzAgent. I received a coupon for free Kettle Brand Real Sliced Potato Chips for this review, however the opinions expressed are my own.

1st Review: Sea Salt Flavor
I finally found some of the chips at my local Fred Meyer and grabbed my usual go to flavor Sea Salt. The chips have a nice texture, and unlike other kettle chips I've tried, these are not as hard as rocks. The have the perfect amount of crispiness to them. That being said there was not nearly enough salt on them. I tend to like bland food, but even these were too bland for me. I hardly tasted any salt at all. These chips are not bad though, I like that the ingredients list is simple and that there are no gmos or harmful/questionable ingredients in them. I just wish there was a little more flavor there. I've been looking through some of the other flavors and think I will give them a try. I've never heard of Olive Oil potato chips before, so that should be interesting. However, these, while not horrible, are seriously lacking in the flavor department.

2nd Review: Olive Oil Flavor:
I was able to try a new flavor of the Kettle Brand Real Sliced Potatoes recently, Olive Oil. First, the smell caught me off guard. There was something about it that just smelled disgusting. I immediately wasn't sure I wanted to even try the chips because the smell was so bad. I made myself though, and I'm glad I did! The flavor was unusual, reminiscent of a Greek salad. It is perfect for a sandwich though and goes perfectly with just about any light meal. The texture is nice, it isn't too crunchy or hard. Overall these are great chips. Don't be fooled by the smell, the taste is 1000 times better.

BzzAgent Kettle Brand Popcorn

I participate in a WOM site called BzzAgent. I received a coupon for free popcorn for this review, however the opinions expressed are my own.

1st review Kettle Brand Popcorn: Sea Salt:
I finally found a bag of Kettle Popcorn. OMG it was probably the hardest thing I've tracked down from BzzAgent. I went to 5 different stores, none of which had them. I finally lucked out with a QFC in a town over from my town, but MY GOD did have to be so hard? That being said this is the best prepackaged popcorn I've ever had! It tastes fluffy and fresh! It isn't greasy or stale, it tastes just like freshly popped popcorn. I tried the sea salt (I'm not a very adventurous eater) and I love it. My only criticism is that it could use MORE salt. It the flavor is a mild one like sea salt it needs a little more of the salt in order for to get the full satisfaction of the flavor. Even so, I love this pop corn AND I can have 3 cups for only 150 calories! That's a lot and could come in handy with weight loss resolutions in the new year. Overall very satisfied with the product, but wish it was easier to get a hold of.

Post Review Comment: Since this campaign from Bzz Agent has started a lot more stores have started to carry the popcorn. Check your local grocery store, they probably have it in.

2nd Review Kettle Brand Popcorn: White Cheddar:
Okay, I went to the grocery store that I normally shop at, which is a Fred Meyer and the FINALLY got a shipment of the popcorn in! This time I decided to try the White Cheddar. It wasn't bad, but I think it needs a little more cheesy flavor. I only really taste the cheddar when I eat a bunch at once. Even though it needs a little more flavoring it is still really tasty! I LOVE that even with the different flavoring it is still 3 cups for 150 calories! I love that the popcorn is GMO free and was astounded that the ingredients list was so short! It is clearly a natural wholesome product and I need more products like this in my everyday life. So many products no have a crazy amount of chemicals and many of these chemicals are actually carcinogens (cancer causing products). I'm so happy to see that there are companies like Kettle Brand that realize consumers want to go back to more natural food products. What amazing tome is that even prepackage the popcorn tastes fresh! I was looking at the bag and saw that the particular shipment I got was made in Oregon! This made me really happy as I live in Washington and was very happy to know that the product didn't travel far to get to me, which means less pollution of the earth. Very happy with these products!

Melt and Pour Soap Kits!

Okay, I'm new to the whole melt and pour soap making hobby and I didn't want to invest a lot in supplies in case I didn't like it. While I was shopping one day at Michaels I came across an AWESOME kit. It came with 2 pounds of soap base, a 4 pocket mold, cucumber scent, 3 dyes, and some instructions on how to get different effects and designs in the soap. It was actually a lot of fun! Best part? I had a 50% off coupon, so instead of spending $22 I spent $12 (blame the extra dollar on tax).

It's really fun to make a bunch of different designs with the soap and it's surprisingly easy. The soap kit was made by ArtMinds(which is a Michaels based company)  and they have a bunch of different kits. I bought the Soap Making 101 as my first kit, but since then I've bought the Botanical Soap kit, Tie-dye soap kit, and a fragrance kit as well. I highly recommend them if you are new to soap making. And when you grow out of the kits you can move on to some more advanced project that you can find online. They are ALL OVER THE PLACE. Seriously, just type "Melt and Pour Soap Projects" into google and you'll have more then you know what to do with.

Scarf Tutorials

Okay, here's a sister site to the tie site that I posted a while ago. It covers women's scarves and how to tie them in different ways to achieve different looks. Most are geared towards pashminas, but there are also tutorials on square scarves and neckerchiefs as well. The tutorials include both written and picture instructions. Enjoy!

Okay, I know there are a lot of videos and picture guides out there for this sort of thing, but I wanted to share this cool website I found that covers MANY MANY ways on how you may tie a tie. From the simplest and most humble of tie knots to the crazy difficult this website I found has picture guides for over 10 different ways you can tie a tie. Neat, isn't it?

Yes, they sell ties as well, but you don't have to buy one to use the tutorials.

Pocket Posh Christmas Word Roundups 3 REVIEW

I received Christmas Word Round up 3 for Christmas and LOVE IT!! Basically Word Round Ups are word searches, but instead of specific words to find the book gives you hints and you must find all of the words in the puzzle that relate to that hint. They lovely little puzzles that can be done in a few minutes. Great for if you're waiting in line or in a doctor's office. They are not hard but there is the occasional challenging puzzle that takes a while to figure out. Some of the puzzle hints are repeated through out the book, but this honestly did not have a big effect on the enjoyment I received from the puzzles. And to top it all off the cover is just nice to look at! No bold words or ugly covers. Pocket Posh books are pretty and fit nicely into my purse. I can't wait to track down more of these fun books!
